Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program – Oklahoma City
The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program at MedNoc Training College in Oklahoma City—also known as the Long-Term Care Nurse Aide or Certified Nurse Assistant course or Nurse Tech—is a 77-clock-hour training program designed to prepare students for success in the healthcare field.
All CNA programs at MedNoc Training College are approved and licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry (OSDH-NAR) and are taught by licensed nurses with years of professional healthcare experience, many of whom began their careers as CNAs.
The CNA training course curriculum focuses on equipping students with the knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence required to pass the Oklahoma State CNA Certification Exam and become certified as Long-Term Care Nurse Aides. The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Weekday Program at MedNoc Training College is a 2-week, 77-clock-hour training course approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry (OSDH-NAR). This program is designed to prepare students for state certification as a Long-Term Care Nurse Aide, combining classroom instruction, hands-on skills lab training, and supervised clinical experience to ensure graduates are ready to begin their healthcare careers.
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Skills lab sessions are conducted during the second week on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, with clinical rotations at a long-term care facility on Wednesday and Thursday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Evening Program at MedNoc Training College is a 4-week, 77-clock-hour training course approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry (OSDH-NAR). This program is ideal for students who prefer evening classes, combining classroom instruction, hands-on skills lab training, and supervised clinical practice to prepare students for state certification as a Long-Term Care Nurse Aide.
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Skills lab sessions are conducted during the third week, and clinical rotations are completed during the fourth week on Wednesday and Thursday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

This flexible online program is designed for students who need a more convenient learning schedule, combining self-paced online coursework, hands-on skills lab training, and supervised clinical experience to prepare students for state certification as a Long-Term Care Nurse Aide.
Students complete the online portion of the program at their own pace within set weekly deadlines, with coursework available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. During the fourth week, students attend on-campus skills lab sessions followed by clinical rotations at a long-term care facility.

Admission Requirements:
- Complete the Student Application online or in person.
- Complete the Enrollment Agreement in person or electronically.
- Minimum age: 16 Years old.
- Education: Ability to read, write, and comprehend in English.
- Current Government-issued Photo ID: e.g., driver’s license, passport, military card, green card, work authorization card, or tribal card.
- Social Security Card or replacement letter from the Social Security Administration's office.
- A criminal background check (Can be done at the School for a cost of $35.00).
- Tuberculin (TB) Skin Test (PPD Test). (Offered at MedNoc for a cost of $35.00).
- Current BLS Certification is required before attending clinical. (This can be done at the School for a fee of $60.00).
***NOTE: Some clinical sites may require additional requirements such as drug screens, immunization records, flu shots during flu season, or wearing a mask at the clinical site. The school will inform you if any of these items are required on the day of enrollment.

Students have THREE (3) attempts to take and pass both the Knowledge and the Skills components of the CNA certification state exam. If the candidate fails to pass both components (Knowledge & Skills), they shall be required only to retake the exam component they failed. However, if the candidate fails after their third attempt and ends up retraining, they will be required to start testing attempts afresh by taking both the knowledge and skills exam. Failure to pass after the third attempt requires students to retake the Course and submit new payments for training costs and state exams. For each exam attempt, the Student must make a payment. CNA Certification Renewal Process:
The Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) certification must be renewed every two years from the original date of issue. To renew the CNA certification, you must submit:
- Fill out and submit the Renewal Application ODH Form 717 to the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry.
- No renewal fee.
- Employment Verification – Must submit proof of 8 hours of paid work in nursing or nursing-related services during the 24-month certification time frame. Acceptable proof may include a pay stub, W-2, or a signed letter from the Administrator attesting that you have worked for pay providing nursing aide-related services for at least 8 hours within the last 24 months.
