Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
MedNoc Training College offers merit-based scholarships, tuition waivers, and discounts. You must apply and submit documentation requesting that the school award you the MedNoc Scholarship. The request for a Scholarship must be made at least 30 days before the intended course start date. Scholarships may be full or partial, or take the form of tuition discounts, tuition waivers, or reimbursements. Scholarships are awarded based on available funds.
MedNoc Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
- Extreme financial need documented by income below federal poverty guidelines.
- Strong academic performance evidenced by transcripts with minimum grades of A’s and B’s.
- Exceptional work ethic supported by letters of recommendation.
- Alumni status with exemplary course performance and certification achievement.
- Relationship to an MTC employee (child or spouse) meeting specific tenure and conduct criteria.
- If already enrolled, the student must demonstrate commitment to your training and coursework, including no tardies or absences and achieving As in your courses. By meeting this criterion, the student is reimbursed for the tuition already paid.
Applicants must meet at least two of the above criteria and submit a 3-page essay addressing personal background, reasons for seeking the scholarship, anticipated impact on personal and community life, and a five-year plan. The Scholarship Committee reviews applications within 60 days of submission, and the President makes the final decision.
